Episode 20: How to Turn Your Cheer Passion into a Profitable Side Hustle

This week’s episode of Life After Cheer discusses how you can turn your passion for cheer into a side business! After all, just because your time as an athlete is over doesn’t necessarily mean that your cheering passion has to be.

Here are just a few of the tips I mention:

  1. (5:08) Hone in on the skills you learned as a cheerleader and take them with you after cheer
  2. (10:45) Don’t let self-doubt or others’ self-doubt get in the way of your goals
  3. (19:27) It’s good to feel uncomfortable – that means you are growing, changing, and evolving, so take it in stride!

How to Become a Morning Workout Person

Episode 18: How to Become a Morning Workout Person

This particular episode of Life After Cheer is yet another solo episode with me! Today, I share my best tips about how you can become someone who works out in the mornings and why September is the best month to start that journey!

There are three notable tidbits from this episode, which include:

  1. (1:53) Waking up early to work out can give you more energy due to you feeling far more productive in the morning
  2.  (9:00) Get a good night’s sleep beforehand – make sure to give yourself an hour before bed in which you don’t check your phone
  3. (13:52) Track the positive impacts rather than the negative ones! Typically, we tend to focus on the negative things rather than the things that go right – try and do the opposite
