Today’s empowerment workout is dedicated to giving you the strength to take control of your life by making positive choices and setting realistic goals to improve yourself all-around! So write down those goals for cheer, school, and yourself and join us to feel empowered in workout #2!! Ps, focus on keeping your chest up and heart open as you strike each POWER POSE of today’s workout : )

EXERCISE #1: LUNGE TO TWIST
FOCUS AREA: core, hip flexors, lower body, and lower back flexibility *hold for 30-60 seconds
EXERCISE #2: WARRIOR POSE TO BACK STRETCH
FOCUS AREA: core, shoulders, lower body, lower back flexibility *hold the backstretch for 10-20 seconds each rep
EXERCISE #3: SPLIT SQUAT BALANCE
FOCUS AREA: lower body (quads & hamstrings) and core
EXERCISE #4: SQUAT HOLD
FOCUS AREA: quads (front of legs) and core *hold for 30-60 seconds
EXERCISE #5: TWIST & SHOUTS
FOCUS AREA: core and obliques
