CAN YOU SHARE WITH US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY AND HOW YOU GOT TO WHERE YOU ARE TODAY?

Earlier this year, I had a horrible injury to my hip, so I was unable to do jumps, tumbling, and most stretching! After overcoming this battle, I decided that the best way for me to get back in shape was to become a CHEERFIT Ambassador!! Thanks to all the great workouts and stretching tips, I am already 100% back and better than ever!

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS?:

Last year, my level 5 team went to nationals for the first time and got 4th place and this year my level 6 team is going to nationals for the first time in July!!

HOW HAS BEING AN AMBASSADOR HELPED YOU REACH YOUR GOALS?

Thanks to CHEERFIT and being an ambassador, I have been motivated to work out and stretch every day! I have higher jumps and more confidence in my tumbling!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT BEING A CHEERFIT AMBASSADOR?

The best part of being an Ambassador for me is the community. If I need help with anything at all, I can reach out and get help from any other members!

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO TELL OTHER PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BECOME A CHEERFIT AMBASSADOR?

Just do it!! It is sooooo worth it to become and Ambassador! You’ll gain so much confidence and meet new people!

For about two months I would have pain in my ankle when tumbling. I got X-Rays and went for treatment. Later when it wasn’t better, they ordered me and MRI, and discovered I have early arthritis in my ankle. Some times I have to pull back when it hurts but it’s not stopping me from tumbling <3

I am in the Junior National Honor Society at school, I’m on my school JV cheer team, and I’ve competed in many cheer competitions and won a few also!!

I help motivate others at practice and at school. If they are having a hard time, I just remind them that they can do it, because they can!

CAN YOU SHARE WITH US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY AND HOW YOU GOT TO WHERE YOU ARE TODAY?

We returned home 12 hours after Hurricane Harvey tore my town apart. There was no water, no power, no cell service and no home to come back to. We were blessed enough to have friends in town to stay with. As soon as we returned, we helped. I picked up shingles torn from roofs and dragged tree limbs to the street. At noon and 6pm, I’d go to the local shopping center and help hand out warm meals to the community. I learned that no one is too small to help. I also learned that we should always be willing to help and never afraid to ask for help.

My team is Texas Cheerleader State Champions, Cheer World National Champions and All-Star Athletics National Champions

After being homeless for 3 months due to the storm, we’re moved into our new house and ready to get back to our normal. Being a CHEERFIT Ambassador helps me stay motivated and links me with a community of other cheerleaders with goals similar to mine.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT BEING A CHEERFIT AMBASSADOR?

Although I haven’t been a CHEERFIT Ambassador long, I’ve already felt so much love and support from this community. I can’t wait to grow with my new CHEERFIT Ambassador Family.

On 27 February 2018, on the way to gymnastics team practice, Lila and I discussed leaving gymnastics and switching to cheer. Floor is Lila’s favourite event and she decided that, after her experience the Friday before at Infinity Open Gym, that cheer was the sport for her. We made the call, set up the class, and went to gymnastics. Within the hour, Lila would break her leg on bars – she finished the routine after the break and actually walked out to the car on her own. The next day we found out it was broken and Lila spent 4 weeks in cast. She visited her chosen cheer gym, met her coach, and did her CheerFit exercises at home to be ready to return. When the cast came off, Lila was in more pain than when she broke it. 


She was diagnosed with Complex Pain Syndrome, which meant her nerves were firing constantly and even touching her leg hurt.


Her pain was a consistent 8-9 on a scale of 1-10. The doctor gave her a prescription. She signed up for physical therapy and they said they expected it to take 6 weeks. That timeframe meant she would miss tumbling classes and cheer tryouts. So she decided to push through it and work extra hard at home. Within four days of physical therapy she was putting weight on her leg and working on walking without crutches. She’s attending cheer class this week for stretching and she’s determined to make tryouts in May.

CHEERFit really helped her feel like she was progressing and able to participate in the sport while she was recovering! We love CHEERFIT already and can’t wait to see how fast she progresses once she is fully healed!

Over the past few months i’ve been doing the workouts trying to get my scorpion and i have finally got it thanks to the help of CHEERFIT! Over the past few years I had really bad mind blocks and couldn’t trow any of my skills by myself.
