What up friends??

Fall is in the air – I love it!! Game day is in full swing and so for this Workout Wednesday we are coming at ya with football inspired exercises that will keep ya in game day shape! Get ready to tone, sculpt, define and feel the burn throughout the entire game! I want you to put your GAME DAY face on and give me 110% every quarter (or more if you’re feeling like a champ). 

Alright so instead of videos this week we have our awesome cheerFIT drawings showing us the way.

 

Exercise #1: Field Goal  (Also known as a SQUAT WITH A SHOULDER PRESS)

Fit Tip – make sure your knees DO NOT go over your toes in a squat and do not squat lower than 90 degrees. Now go take the field like a champ.


 

Exercise #2: Kickoff (Also known as a BACKWARDS LUNGE WITH A KICK)

Fit Tip- engage your core and give me one powerful kick! Cheerleaders are tough – now go show me what you’re made of slugger.


 

Exercise # 3: Football Runs (Also known as a CARDIO RUN)

Fit Tip – stay on the balls of your feet and GO-GO-GO! High Five – you got this!


 

Exercise #4: Tight End (Also known as a SQUAT HOLD)

Fit Tip- who doesn’t want a little sculpted booty action? I want to see good form though! I would rather you hold the squat with absolute perfect form for less time than pull a fake out and not use good technique. Remember, if you cheat – you are only cheating yourself. (ouch)


 

Exercise #5: Touch Down (Also known as a DOUBLE CRUNCH)

Fit Tip – your core is your powerhouse – so lets power that entire stadium and work that core to the max. Really visualize each muscle working and get ready to win big!
